ROAD TO PAGELARAN SABANG MERAUKE 2026

Pagelaran Sabang Merauke is an artistic performance that brings together creativity, emotion, and expression in an entertaining format. It showcases the beauty of Indonesia’s culture and diversity from Sabang to Merauke in a grand, colossal, spectacular, and modern stage production. This performance is consistently held to foster a strong sense of pride and nationalism as a source of national strength.

From 2022 to 2025, iForte, in collaboration with BCA, has successfully held Pagelaran Sabang Merauke six times. In 2026, the event will return with the theme “Hikayat Srikandi Nusantara,” highlighting the struggles and stories of Indonesian women. The performance will be presented through dances, songs, and traditional costumes, emphasizing the unique characteristics of each region across Indonesia.

Pagelaran Sabang Merauke 2026 will involve a diverse range of internationally experienced artists. More than 1,500 individuals will take part, including 650 performers on stage. The performance will feature 378 dancers presenting cultural choreography from Sabang to Merauke, more than 50 traditional musicians, and renowned Indonesian singers such as Raisa, Yura Yunita, Christine Tambunan, Yuyun Arfah, Mirabeth Sonia, Alicia Hartono, Galabby Thahira, Gabriel Harvianto, Alsant Nababan, Taufan Purbo, Nino Prabowo, Swain Mahisa, Bima Zeno, as well as the band Padi Reborn. They will be accompanied by the Jakarta Concert Orchestra, Batavia Madrigal Singers, The Resonanz Children’s Choir, and Armonia Choir under the direction of conductor Avip Priatna. The performance will also feature Pesona Gondanglegi, Jember Fashion Carnaval, Magelang Etno Carnival, Barongsai Kong Ha Hong, and the Poltekim Marching Band.

The excitement will be further enhanced by a Cultural Fair featuring Desa Wisata Bakti BCA, the BCA Bangga Lokal SME Bazaar, and an art exhibition showcasing works by Indonesian artists in the form of paintings and sculptures.

As part of iForte and BCA’s commitment to preserving culture while creating participatory opportunities for the younger generation, the Pagelaran Sabang Merauke 2026 series will begin with three major programs: the National Dance Competition “Inspirasi Diri,” the Inspirasi Diri Parade, and The Audition of Pagelaran Sabang Merauke.
